A day at the river

Kenna and I took the boys to the river today! It was a glorious time the weather for March is amazing. We all wore shirt sleeves, the boys got wet of course. the sand was perfect for digging and the water awesome for rock throwing.

Dehydrating For The First Time

February 9, 2012

Today I am trying my hand at dehydrating. I have a dehydrator that was given to me years ago but I never have used it. It is at least 15 years old but I am going to give it a go. Hopefully it will do a good job. It would be nice to save some of our extra food instead of feeding it to the pig.

May 20th 2011

Today is a glorious day! It is a little warmer today and the sun was out this morning. However, the clouds are starting to move in. There are signs of spring popping up here and there.  I found little blue flowers down by the bus stop yesterday. The jack rabbits are enjoying the grass in the yard. 

The lake is full and looking really good. I took new photos on my way to work!
